Parental alienation involves one parent manipulating a child to reject and denigrate the other parent unjustifiably. My own experience with parental alienation gives me unique empathy for the affects of alienation on a parent's entire being, as well as insight into the nuanced behaviors of alienators. My coaching approach is rooted in a cultivated understanding and firsthand knowledge of the tricks used by alienators to manipulate the perceptions of others.

Signs include sudden hostility or avoidance towards one parent only, unfounded negative feelings, and repeating negative comments about a parent. I can help you identify the indicators and guide you through the process of determining if your child is being alienated from you. 

YES. However, alienators can turn any of our efforts to repair our relationship with our child(ren) against us because they control the perceptions of the child. They warp these perceptions by assigning negative motives to everything we do - even a heartfelt gift can be misconstrued to or withheld from the child by the alienating parent. Without a clear understanding of the alienator's tools and a proper mindset, we may even react in ways that seem to validate the alienator's narrative. My coaching sessions focus on personalized strategies to set you on the path to reconnect and rebuild trust with your alienated child, and to navigate the often counter-intuitive complexities of parental alienation, drawing from my own successful journey from being a severely alienated parent to having a stronger relationship with my child than ever before. 

 Coping strategies are tailored to each individual's situation. I provide emotional support, practical advice, and techniques that helped me navigate the emotional toll of parental alienation.

I can offer limited guidance on legal options, working with legal professionals, and navigating the legal system to address parental alienation's impact on custody or visitation arrangements. This depends a lot on your jurisdiction's current policies and practices regarding this issue.

The shame we experience as a result of being alienated from our children socially isolates us when we need social networks most.  To counter that isolation, I'm starting a weekly live group meeting on the web for targeted and alienated parents to share their experience, strength and hope with one another.  Facebook has some great support groups that I linked lower on this page, as well. 

I offer guidance on maintaining a healthy relationship with your child during transitions, minimizing the risk of unintentional alienation, based on my own experiences and the expertise I have gathered since. 

I offer guidance to targeted and alienated parents who are being rejected, disrespected and mistreated by their own children at the pleasure of their child's other parent. Alienated children over the age of 18 are also welcome. Children 18 and under who believe they are or might be experiencing parental alienation should reach out to a trusted teacher or guidance counselor at their school for help.

My coaching method is deeply rooted in personal experience,  combined with a cultivated understanding of the inner workings of alienators after witnessing and deciphering these behaviors first-hand for two decades. 

I feel duty-bound to share everything I learned throughout my survival journey, but it will take me some time to generate all the content for digital coaching programs. For a limited time while I'm developing that content, I'm offering in-person, one-on-one coaching sessions via Zoom for a low price, making them affordable to a wide range of people while "keeping the lights on" as I build these beneficial programs.
